PA5 Programmable Attenuator

The PA5 Programmable Attenuator is a precision device for controlling signal levels over a wide dynamic range, providing 0 to 120 dB of attenuation for signals up to 100 kHz in frequency. It can be controlled in Synapse manually or with the SynapseAPI.

Adding PA5 to your Rig and Processing Tree

The PA5 isn't added to the rig automatically.

To add one:

  1. Click Menu then Edit Rig.

  2. In the Rig Editor, right-click "PC", then click Add PA5.

  3. Click OK to close the Rig Editor and update the Processing Tree.

The PA5 object has only one API parameter, "Atten", for getting and setting the attenuation level.
