iGn Digitizer

The iGn Digitizer is an 8 or 16 channel general purpose amplifier for capturing up to
±5 V analog signals from a wide range of devices such as eye trackers, respiration
monitors, external amplifiers, temperature sensors, accelerometers, and more.
iG8 / iG16 Digitizer
The iG8 and iG16 are 8 and 16 channel low-noise analog amplifiers. They can record signals all the way down to DC.
-
DB15 connectors mate with TDT's iGm manifolds for easy connection to signal inputs
-
Onboard LEDs provide live feedback of the recording channel activity
See the Hardware Manual for information on iG8 / iG16 technical specifications.

Select the number of Channels to read from the iG8 / iG16.
There are selectable Sample Rate options of ~750 Hz, ~1.5 kHz, ~3 kHz, ~6 kHz, ~12 kHz, ~25 kHz, ~50 kHz or system rate (maximum ~50 kHz). This list is limited by the RZ processor sampling rate (system rate). The lowest practical rate improves noise performance.
Run-time Status reads the clipping status of each channel and displays it in a tab at run-time.
The Save option visualizes and stores the raw signal at run-time. The Split Files option saves these as individual SEV files, one per channel.
The Channel Scaling option lets you set a scale factor for all channels or per channel. These values are saved into a CSV file with the recorded data.

The channel indicators flash red when the signal is clipping. On the front panel of the iG8 / iG16 the channel green LEDs are lit when that channel is active, and the clip lights flash red when the input signal is beyond ~±4.8 V on that channel.
