iBn Battery Module

The iBn Battery Module is a battery pack for the iCon chassis so that you can run experiments while isolated from mains power.

iB6 Battery Module

The iB6 is a 85 Whr battery pack.

  • Multiple iB6 modules can be used in parallel for extended recording time

  • Front panel LED indicators show % battery remaining

  • Synapse software shows battery level and remaining time

iB6 Options

iB6 Interface

Choose to show or hide the Runtime Status tab.

Choose to Halt Recording if the iB6 has <= 3% battery capacity remaining and is not actively charging.

iBn Runtime Interface

iB6 Runtime Interface

The iB6 shows the an LED charging indicator, the current battery level percentage, and an estimate of the time remaining based on the current draw of your iCon modules. A flashing green LED means the mains power is turned on and the battery is charging. Red means the iCon is running from the iB6 power only.

If Halt Recording is disabled, the interface will only show a warning message when battery is low.

If Halt Recording is enabled, the interface will provide a countdown before switching to Idle that the user can override.

When the iB6 is powered off, no status is shown.
