This unique RZ real-time processor combines a wide range of digital and analog I/O with our incredible module options from our iCon Platform. Powered by our industry best signal processing cards, the RZ11 is our most expansive offering to date.

Customizing with iCon Modules

The RZ11 has an iCon2 built into the device. This means that researchers can populate the open slots with any of our over 20+ iCon modules for a fully customized neurophysiology setup.

TDT offers iCon modules for behavioral operant control, fiber photometry, electrophysiology, aversive stimulation, fear conditioning, infrared detection, and much more.

The video below demonstrates how various modules populate the embedded iCon caddie. RZ11 owners can mix-and-match modules in the two available slots on the processor to customize for any research application.

 

Synapse Software

The RZ11 automatically detects and configures your iCon modules. Setting up experiments for Fiber Photometry, operant behavior, or anything else is very simple – just attach the gizmos you need using our intuitive click-and-drag interface and Synapse will do the rest.
