TDT and ADA Compliance

TDT has a long-standing reputation of taking great care of its customers. We aim to have the highest standards of service from our sales and support teams so our customers feel that they are being taken care of. Making sure our website is accessible and easy to navigate for all of our customers is an important part of this standard.

To this end, we aim to work through the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 and make a reasonable effort to meet the criteria for what WCAG considers AA standards.

Concierge Website and Product Services

TDT encourages its customers to contact sales@tdt.com or support@tdt.com if they would like to have an online chat or phone call to help with understanding our products or need help navigating webpages.

TDT is a manufacturer, with no brick and mortar or online storefront, of neuroscience systems are highly specialized tools for academic research. These systems are not generally available for online cart purchases and require manicured quotes to purchase, so this is already a usual step to purchase a new product from us.

ADA Compliance Roadmap

Our aim is for our website to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards to within the best of our abilities within a reasonable time frame. TDT has a very large legacy website, so implementing these standards will take time. However, any specific requests for ADA features can be made through the ADA Feature Request Form in the following page section. We will attempt to comply to these requests within 30 business days.

The first stop on our compliance roadmap will be to ensure alternative text for all images, presence of heading navigation, and input form and button identification. Contrast standards for low-vision users will be the next step. These fixes should address the majority of issues customers usually face when navigating websites that do not meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. The final phase will be to implement smaller changes to things like time-based media.

We understand that to be WCAG 2.1 AA compliant requires ongoing maintenance, especially as new content is added and webpages are altered.
