No signal on RM1/RM2 ADCs

In some cases the ADCs on the RM1 and RM2 may not work even though the DACs are working. Users can usually still see the device in zBus Monitor and the device can pass a transfer test.


The RM1/RM2 will have this problem when connected to some USB ports but not on others, even on the same PC.

  1. If possible, try moving the RM1/RM2's USB connection from one port to another port on the PC.

  2. If a second USB port is not available or does not resolve the problem, insert a USB hub between the PC and the RM1/RM2.

The "Gigaware 4-Port Stackable USB Hub" has been tested and was found to be a reliable option for this application; however, most other USB hubs should also work.
