Systems with No Processors

For devices without a PC interface.

Your TDT package includes non-programmable items. Packages like this one typically include add-on items to an existing system you own, or standalone items such as speaker drivers and speakers. In either case, this page will help you find the information you need about your new purchase.

Unpack Your Equipment

Items such as speakers, commutators, preamps, and headstages are shipped loose in static safe packing materials. System 3 modules such as speaker drivers or microphone amplifiers may be shipped loose or pre-installed in a ZB1PS zBus device chassis (shown below with no modules installed). The device chassis includes a bus system that distributes power throughout the system. One or two modular devices can be mounted in the chassis' front bays. The power cable and/or any other cables necessary for your system are included in the shipping box.

Because none of these devices are under computer control, there is no interface to install and no drivers to set up. Mount the modules in the chassis, connect power, and you are ready to go.

Adding these to a system with a processor

If these items are an addition to a system that includes a processor, set up the processor first (see Which Setup Do I Have?), then connect these devices.

PDF Manuals

Technical details about your new equipment are available in the System 3 Manual. The latest electronic documents and PDF versions of all TDT manuals are always available on our website at https://www.tdt.com/docs.

Hardware Warranty

TDT System 3 hardware carries a five-year warranty on parts and labor. Custom hardware carries a one-year warranty on parts and labor. All headstages, the ES1 and the EC1 carry a two-year warranty. Contact TDT to obtain an RMA (return merchandise authorization) number before returning any hardware.
