PZ2 Z-Series Preamplifier
 Designed for use with high impedance headstages, TDT’s high-count Z-Series preamplifiers feature a fast new fiber optic connection capable of simultaneously transferring up to 256 channels at full precision. This extended bandwidth supports sampling rates up to ~50 kHz and improves signal fidelity, spike discrimination, sorting, and analysis. Used exclusively with Z-Series base stations, preamps are available in 32, 64, 128 or 256-channel models. Our custom 18-bit hybrid A/D architecture offers the advantages of Sigma-Delta converters at significantly lower power. LEDs indicate battery status as well as spike detection and clipping on each channel.
