TDT’s high impedance headstages are designed for extracellular neurophysiology using silicon electrodes, metal microelectrodes or microwire arrays.

16-Channel Acute Headstages

Connect this headstage directly to NeuroNexus acute 16-channel electrodes or use it with metal microelectrodes via a 0.5 mm adaptor. This small form factor is also available with 4x gain.

64 and 32-Channel Acute Headstages

This headstage is designed for the 64 and 32-channel acute NeuroNexus probes. Its miniature electronics occupy the same small footprint as our 16-channel acute headstages.

16-Channel Switchable Acute Headstages

The switchable headstages feature high-voltage, low-leakage solid-state relays to allow remote switching between stimulation and recording on each channel. The 18-pin DIP connector matches the wiring of NeuroNexus electrodes, allowing direct connection or the headstage can be used with standard high impedance metal electrodes.
