Issue:

After Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 is installed, OpenContoller can no longer access OpenWorkbench. New security settings, included in the service pack, affect the performance of client/server applications.    

Workaround:

If you have installed, or wish to install Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 on a computer using OpenEx, then you must follow the steps outlined in the following link to be able to run OpenController successfully. Note that this procedure is to be carried out after installing SP1 and OpenEx.
