Aluminum ZIF-Clip^® Headstage Upgrade

ZIF-Clip^® headstages now feature an aluminum finish which protects the sensitive electronics within the headstage and improves durability. Customers who purchased our polymer ZIF-Clip^® headstages should be interested in upgrading their existing headstages to the new aluminum ZIF-Clip^® headstages.

Who should upgrade?

If you are currently using our polymer ZIF-Clip^® headstages we recommend upgrading to the new aluminum ZIF-Clip^® headstages.

What are the advantages of upgrading?

The new aluminum finish ZIF-Clip^® headstages provide a longer-lasting, robust finish best suited for repeated handling and use under a broader range of conditions. This design is much more resistant to fractures, scratches, and temperature warping and will outlast our earlier polymer design.

These new ZIF-Clip^® headstages are compatible with all existing ZIF-Clip^® Adapters and Microwire arrays and provide the same great recording performance.
